Microsoft confirmed that a Windows Server update released last month on Patch Tuesday caused some Microsoft 365 Defender features that use the Network Data Reporting Service to stop working.
Redmond describes Microsoft 365 Defender (now known as Defender XDR) as an enterprise pre- and post-breach security suite that helps orchestrate detection, prevention, investigation and response across an organization's endpoints, identities, email and applications.
