Instagram is testing new features that can help reduce users privately or don't like comments about messages or coils. The company reviewed the test after users noticed a new button next to the comment. Unlike traditional aversion buttons, Instagram does not display a statement of disgust and others do not know if someone voted downstream.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri said in the thread that the feature is designed to improve comment classification by finally moving comments that are disliked on the wire. He emphasized that the goal is to create a more positive environment on the platform. The test followed the reports of the Alessandro Paluzzi application researcher, who previously noticed on Instagram, experimenting with such a feature. Meta's representatives also explained that the test is part of an effort to improve user control over his experience on Instagram.

Currently, this function is being validated in a small group of users with extension potential in the future. In case of success, Instagram can adjust the classification of comments to prioritize more relevant and constructive discussions.
