Instagram now lets you add up to 20 audio tracks to Reels, according to new news spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra. When you add different tracks to your reels, Instagram marks the audio collection as yours so other users can share and reuse it. You can only add one song to your wheels before this update.
But now that you can include multiple songs, you can synchronize different sounds with lyrics, stickers and clips that appear on your wheels, potentially creating an even more chaotic video. To use this feature, click the new Add to Mix button that appears in the Instagram video editor. From there, you can choose which songs to include, which parts of the song to use, and where to place them in the movie. After you publish a reel, other users can see all the tracks it contains, and they'll see the "Use Audio Collection" button on their videos.
This is a feature that even TikTok doesn't have yet, users still have to use workarounds or third-party apps to get more songs in their videos.
