Reddit recently faced generalized international failures, according to Netblocks, a global internet surveillance service. However, the disturbances have since been resolved. Netblocks explained that the problem was not caused by internet restrictions or filtration at the national level.
Disconnect reports increased to download, reaching around 56,000 complaints at 7:27 p.m. in the east before gradually decreasing. Users from all platforms such as X, Threads, BlueSky also mentioned the difficulty of accessing Reddit. Despite these reports, not all users face problems.
For example, Reddit usually worked for some people, including those that used access to the platform via Mobile Browsers to move older Reddits. Interestingly, Reddit's official status page continued to display all systems, such as "Operational", without paying attention to incidents. As of now, the company has not provided an official response regarding the outage.
