Nvidia will soon let you link your Xbox account to its GeForce Now streaming service to automatically sign in to supported games. Starting August 22, linking a new account means you only need to sign in and link your Xbox profile once to save it for use in all future GeForce Now sessions. This week, Game Pass on PC gets even easier in the cloud.
"This new feature joins Xbox Game Library Sync in GeForce Now, allowing members to sync supported Xbox Game Pass and Microsoft Store games with their cloud streaming library," Nvidia explained. Nvidia first started rolling out PC Game Pass and Microsoft Store games on GeForce Now last year, and later added account sync to bring games from the Microsoft Store into the GeForce Now library. These features provide access, but without automatic login, you must manually authorize each time you use the GeForce Now service. Now just set it and forget it.
Just weeks after Microsoft integrated GeForce Now into its Xbox online gaming page, Nvidia has made improvements to Xbox games on GeForce Now. This integration allows you to choose between Xbox Cloud Gaming or Nvidia's GeForce Now service when viewing a list of games on the web. All of this close collaboration is possible thanks to a 10-year agreement between Nvidia and Microsoft that allows Nvidia to license Xbox PC games to GeForce Now, including Activision Blizzard games.
