If you use LinkedIn, you should know that the social network is including your account in training generative AI models without your permission. As reported by 404Media, LinkedIn introduced new privacy settings and an opt-out form before rolling out an updated privacy policy that clarifies that data from the platform is used to train AI models.

Linkedin writes on the certificate page that uses the generated AI for the purpose of writing assistants. You can revoke permission by going to the Data Privacy tab in your account settings and clicking on the Data to improve generative AI to find toggle. Slide it to the off position to decline. According to LinkedIn: "The refusal of exit means that Linkedin and its branches will not use your personal data or your content in LinkedIn to teach in the future, but does not affect the training that has already been adopted."

The FAQ, published for teaching AI, suggests that it uses "technologies to increase confidentiality to edit or delete personal data" from its educational sets, and that it does not teach its models to those who live in the EU, ZEE or Switzerland.

This parameter is designed for the data used to teach models of generative artificial intelligence, but LinkedIn has other automatic learning tools to work for things such as personalization and moderation that do not generate content. To select data after using it to train it, you need to enter it in the Linkedin data processing form.

All Linkedin's obvious silent opt -in or at least most of its platform users will only occur in 2007 only a few days after recognizing data from non -Private user data for model training.
