Is AI simply "fast Googling"? Users Debate After Viral Video Limits Its Capabilities

The video shows a guy suggesting that AI is primarily concerned with algorithmic learning rather than actual intelligence.

Artificial intelligence seems to be ubiquitous these days. Technology already affects everything, from the creation of text and images to how we live and work, even in its current state and with its restrictions. ChatGPT, Gemini, Stable Diffusion and DALL-E are examples of generative AI technologies, which are systems that generate new content based on previous experiences. Some of them are available online for free or with a small subscription. The way artificial intelligence (AI) discovers new capabilities and transforms existing ones sets it apart from other waves of technology. This is the most easily overlooked feature of the current technological revolution. Although each technological wave has its own changes in power structures, no technological wave has experienced a pure diffusion of power.

However, some people believe that artificial intelligence is not as smart as it claims to be. A new viral video shows a man discussing the limitations of artificial intelligence, describing it as nothing more than a system good for quick Google searches. Another user wrote: "This guy has no understanding of neural networks. Yes, artificial intelligence is real and it's not something you google, so please stop; this makes me really happy as a computer science student. Angry.  "Ai learns from the existing knowledge we have the same; we learn from what we know you can say that we will not publish everything on the Internet; much more dangerous than you think.
