Google’s Gemini AI Assistant currently operates without ads, but CEO Sundar Pichai hinted that monetization through advertising might be on the horizon. During an Alphabet investor call, Pichai mentioned the company has "very good ideas" for integrating ads into Gemini in the future. Currently, users can access twins for free or subscribe to a high level.

However, Pichai's comments show that advertising can become part of a consistent experience with advertising, a central business model in the center of Google. Google's potential Google posted in AI review. Wells Fargo Analyst asked Pichai about Gemini's revenue view of the future, including advertising. Pichai's response suggests that while advertising may not be a priority in 2025, Google is thoughtfully exploring ways to introduce it.

The announcement fits into Google's broader ambitions for artificial intelligence. The company revealed that it plans to invest $75 billion in capital expenditures this year, a significant increase in investment aimed at maintaining competitiveness in artificial intelligence infrastructure and development.
