    Amazon to hold Prime Day sales on July 16 and 17

    Amazon will hold its annual gold sales from July 16-17, offering exclusive discounts to Prime Minister members.

    Amazon announced on Tuesday that its annual gold sales activities will take place from July 16 to 17. Sales start US citizens at 1:00 pm. 12.01 During the Pacific Standard on July 16 and will provide exclusive and invited discounts to the Prime Minister members. The company announced it will hold the main day in India later a year. 

    The company is bringing back invitation-only offerings this year. Prime subscribers can request invites from a product page by clicking a new button next to "Add to Cart." Members selected for a sale on the item will receive an email with instructions for purchasing the item. Amazon is already offering some early bird deals for Prime members. Users who haven't tried Amazon Music Unlimited, which went up in price last year, can get a five-month subscription for free. The company is also offering a three-month trial of the new grocery service with unlimited deliveries on orders over $35 at Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market and other partner stores.

    Last year's Prime Day was a hit for Amazon, as US consumers spent $12.7 billion, up 6.1% from 2022, according to Adobe Analytics. The average order size also rose from $52.26 to $54.05, research firm Numerator said.
