Zenless Zone Zero just launched and has been downloaded 50 million times, not surprising for the next big Hoyovere game after another ongoing monster, Genshin Impact. So far I've played with it a bit and it's not bad, but I need to spend more time on it. If you’re just starting out, however, there are some codes you can redeem that you probably don’t know about that will get you some valuable currency.
Free codes can be redeemed at any time, but other codes cannot be claimed until you reach level 5 in the game, which is pretty quick. You can redeem them by going to the main menu, clicking on "More" and then you will see the redeem code option. They are not case sensitive. promotion
This is in addition to the welcome gift you get when you first start playing. Includes: 1600 polychromes, 20 cipher masters, 70 masters, 80 boopons, free agent Corin. It's unclear when this initial promotion might end, as it could take a while, but I'd still apply now to claim it just in case.
So, all of this will give you a lot of initial pulls, well over 100, but you'll also save currency for later when the next heroes are inevitably added. But I think when you're starting out, you probably want to build your collection quickly. My first impression when playing the game was that it featured fairly simple combat with early controls designed primarily for an action game. With mainly two attacks and a lot of character switching, the "big button" model seems better suited for mobile devices than Genshin Impact. Still, there is no doubt that it also has a huge following on PC or consoles. I have no doubt this will make a lot of money for the Hoyoverse, but my gut tells me it won't be as popular as Genshin Impact in the long run. But I mean, considering Genshin Impact has made billions of dollars, even with a 20% success rate, that's still huge. 50 million downloads is obviously a very good start.
