Sony has introduced a new Accessories app for Windows, allowing users to customize the PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller, including changing order, stick sensitivity, and more.

Sony now lets you customize the PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller on the PC. With a new Accessories application, you can change orders, stick sensitivity, and so much more there are countless selections for altering your DualSense Edge on offer. The new Accessories app for Windows will allow you to customize button assignments, change joystick sensitivity, adjust trigger dead zones, and much more.

This takes over for the DualSense Wireless Controller Firmware Update app and was presented in 2022. Now you're able to customize the DualSense Edge controller just like the PlayStation 5, but it goes even further. Firmware can be updated for both the DualSense Edge and the Standard DualSense from a PC with that accessory, as well as the app going forward. Sony already brings some of its best games to PC like Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and The Last of Us Part I.

The company even released a PC adaptor for its PSVR virtual reality headset 2 (though Sony still has some kinks to work out). But launching Accessories app such that Sony would be indeed getting the proper tools where one can handle all the account and device settings right under the comfort of their PC. The firm also released a PlayStation PC overlay earlier this year before it that showed a friends list, trophies, settings and PlayStation account but was only available with Ghost of Tsushima.
