The business plans to unveil its latest Pixel smartphones on August 13.

In an announcement video, Google confirmed that its upcoming smartphone lineup includes a new foldable model. The company calls the Pixel 9 Pro Fold a "folding phone built for the age of Gemini" in its promotional tweets, and even highlights its next-generation AI chatbot in the film. Similar to the non-folding Pixel 9 Pro, this model also has a prominent camera bump. Its lenses are arranged vertically near one side of the phone, so the camera bump is mostly there and doesn't take up the entire width of the foldable device. Although Google has not officially launched the model, the leak provided by the Android authority revealed many details of the upcoming Pixel 9 model.

The Taiwanese National Communications Commission (NCC) uploaded the gallery to each mobile phone 9, 9, 9, 9, 9 Pro XL and 9 Pro Fold -Files. Some of these images show the 9 Pro Fold unfolded, showing how Google moved its selfie camera to the inner screen for a wider field of view. They also show the model to have a reduced display bezel of 250mm, or just under 10 inches. Leaks from the NCC reveal that the upcoming device will also require a larger charger. They generally charge faster than previous models, according to the agency's testing, although the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the slowest of the bunch. When Google's next Google event next Google starts the new smartphone on August 13th, we will be able to confirm this information.
