Apple has halted development of the second-generation Vision Pro, focusing on cheaper Vision headphones priced around $1,500.

A few months ago, we heard that Apple's Vision Pro 2 wouldn't be available until at least August 2025. . The publication claims that the number of employees involved in the development of Vision Pro 2 has been gradually reduced, and that Apple has informed at least one of its suppliers that it has stopped development of the second generation Vision Pro.It's unclear how much the cheaper Vision headphones will cost, but The Information says Apple is aiming to price them around $1,500.The lower-priced Vision is expected to omit some features from the Pro model.

Rumors claim that the cheaper Vision will borrow the improved display from the Pro model, but will have a simpler headband, smaller speakers and fewer cameras. However, Apple is reportedly trying to lower the price of the low-cost Vision without cutting too many features. Information states that Apple may be able to restore work with Vision Pro 2 in the future, but that development is now stopped to focus on cheaper models.
