Instagram has stopped the "rug pull" feature that disappears videos while users are watching them.

According to Instagram master Adam Mosseri, that is a thing of the history. He said in an AMA on Instagram Stories history that the app now waits for druggies to scroll down to see the rearmost updates. You know that thing where you open Instagram and incontinently after watching a videotape that is formerly loaded, a new videotape appears and the old one disappears, noway to be seen again.

This geste , which Instagram supposedly called" pulling the hairpiece" internally, was not just a weird bug. Mosseri said the app did this because" it was trying to load new content and it was taking a while, so in the meantime it showed you what was formerly loaded, which is generally a good thing for engagement."  But it was" really boring," he admits," so we stopped."

Instagram" took a bit of a megahit in terms of engagement because of this," Mosseri concluded, noting that Instagram is a much better experience for those of us who use the appInstagram stops the ‘rug pull’ that disappears videos while you’re watching them
