Google's Gmail Q&A feature, which allows users to ask questions about their inbox using its Gemini AI chatbot, is now available on Android and will be available on iOS soon.

Google recently started letting you ask questions about your Gmail inbox on the web using its Gemini AI chatbot, and now the feature is coming to mobile devices as well. The company says that the Gmail Q&A feature has started rolling out on Android, and the feature will be coming to iOS "soon." Through Gmail Q&A, "you can ask Gemini questions about your inbox, search for specific details within your emails, see your unread messages, see messages from specific senders, and summarize emails by subject in your inbox." Google Blog. Work. Google announced Gmail Q&A at its I/O conference earlier this year.

Gmail Q&A can be a potentially useful way to review your email or find something that might be buried in the depths of your inbox. But keep in mind that this feature isn’t available to all users: you’ll need to subscribe to Google One AI Premium or have a Google Workspace plan with the Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium add-ons. As with many generative AI tools, you should always check that you're not hallucinating what Gemini gets. The Gmail Q&A will be available starting Thursday, but Google said it could take up to 15 days to appear.
